Stephen Devereux is a Consultant Haematologist at Kings College Hospital London & Professor of Lymphoma Biology at Kings College London. He qualified at the Royal Free Hospital and trained in medicine and haematology at the Hammersmith, Royal Free and University College London Hospitals where he obtained his PhD and worked as a Senior Lecturer. Professor Devereux has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of blood cancers, with a particular interest in lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL). He plays an active role in both laboratory and clinical research and directs an internationally competitive team working on the biology of lymphoma and CLL in particular. Professor Devereux was Clinical Director of the South London NIHR Clinical Research Network between 2010 and 2016. He provides advice to NICE and the EMA, is a member of the MHRA Haematology and Oncology Expert Advisory Group and serves on the Bloodwise clinical trials and research committees and the NCRN CLL subgroup.
